The Evolve Experience is a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity that pairs theatrical performance and reflective activities. Evolve monologues portray real-life stories that present a range of perspectives and experiences related to race and policing. After the performance, participants engage in facilitated discussions that move beyond entrenched binary responses. These conversations stress empathy, curiosity and practical application in everyday life.
Two workshops are available—participants can register for their preferred date and time:
- Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 4 PM - 8 PM
- Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 11 AM - 3 PM

The Evolve Experience participants will include invited law enforcement, criminal justice, and civilian oversight professionals, as well as community stakeholders identified by participating agencies.

- The workshop cost is $100 per participant, with a 10% discount available for agencies sending 5-9 participants and a 15% discount available for agencies sending 10+ participants. The workshop will include a meal. A flexible pricing option is available for community member participants. Additional registration information will be shared after you begin the registration process by submitting this form.

- The Hyatt Place UC Davis is across the street from the workshop location at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. The standard room rate is $180/night.
